Ambulance Services
In a medical emergency, every minute counts. Ntinda Hospital provides ambulance services in Kampala for emergencies, hospital transfers and event medical cover. Our ambulances carry trained staff and the equipment needed to stabilise patients on the way to hospital.
We serve individuals, families, schools, companies and event organisers. In addition, we provide ambulance cover for functions and higher-risk activities where many people gather and accidents are more likely.

When to call an ambulance

- has heavy bleeding that will not stop
- has a serious injury from a road accident or fall
- is pregnant with heavy bleeding or strong pain
- has a fit (seizure) that does not stop
What to do while you wait
- First, stay calm and keep the person still if you suspect a neck or back injury.
- Next, press firmly on any bleeding wound with a clean cloth.
- Also, keep the person warm and do not give food or drink.
- Then send someone to meet the ambulance and guide the crew.
- Finally, gather the person’s medicines and any medical documents.
Care on arrival at Ntinda Hospital
When our ambulance arrives, the crew hands over to our hospital team, who are ready to continue treatment. Because we have surgeons, an orthopedic specialist and an on-site laboratory, we can start investigations and treatment quickly. See all our doctors on the specialists page.
